Flowers + Artistry + Technology = Floral Fantasy, the latest thematic attraction from Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

If you’re familiar with Singapore, you’ve undoubtedly heard of Gardens by the Bay, the urban tree hot-spot popular with tourists. Well, Gardens by the Bay has proudly brought to us a new thematic attraction, Floral Fantasy.

Flowers, artistry and technology come together in this newest feature to create a dream-like, fantastical experience for visitors. It comprises four diverse garden landscapes, each showcasing a different concept, as well as a 4D ride.

Explore some 3,000 plants across more than 150 species adorning this floral fantasy.

Dance, the first sight visitors see when entering the garden, is a colourful scape containing flowers suspended from above like disco balls.

Move on to Float, guiding you by the calm waters with trees twisting and turning, paving the way to Waltz.

Be amazed by the rainforest of Waltz, where a two metre tall poison dart frog statue looms over the driftwood structures.

Move on to the last destination at Drift, a dark cavern of terraced rock that exotic South American orchids grow out of amidst the hanging ferns draping down the rocks.

There’s still more. At the end of the attraction, experience the 4D ride “Flight of the Dragonfly”, simulating a dragonfly’s ride through Gardens By The Bay.

On the way out, don’t forget to admire the local artists’ floral-themed works over at the Artist Corner.

The operating hours of Floral Fantasy are from 9am to 9pm daily, on an hourly basis. Visitors are required to buy tickets for entry, which can conveniently be done online. Don’t worry – the experience will be well worth it.

The current featured prices are for the first promotional month after Floral Fantasy opened its doors, ending on 13 May. Tickets are just $17 for adults and $10 for children from 3-12 years old. Additionally, Singapore residents enjoy a heavily discounted rate – $9 for adults and $5 for children, and also $5 for senior citizens above 60 years old.

If you can’t book your time to visit this attraction before 13 May, however, fret not, as the usual prices from 14 May onwards are still an excellent deal. The standard rates will be $20 for adults and $12 for children, while Singapore residents enjoy $12 for adults and $8 for children or senior citizens.

Great deals for attraction bundles are also available. Visitors can experience 1 or 2 conservatories, as well as being provided with shuttle services to ferry them to their destination.

Tickets are selling fast, so those planning a trip to Floral Fantasy are highly recommended to book their slots online to avoid disappointment.
