Love DENIM in your shoes?? – Then check out the new Nike Air Monarch IV PRM!!

Most people I have come across love denim pants, a few even like their tees & jackets in denim, but if you are one of those who love it sooo much that you would even want to flaunt the blue material in your shoes, well – you are in luck!!

This is because, American multinational company, Nike, has on 10th June, launched an all-over denim version of the Nike Air Monarch IV. For those who are not too aware of the Nike Air Monarch, well, this is the company’s wide, comfortable cross-trainer that has remained a mainstay in the company’s footwear line for almost two decades. This new denim version is called the Nike Air Monarch IV PRM.

The launch of this denim version is said to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the host course for golf’s third major. The shoes feature an embroidered flower pattern across the heel and a vibrant flower pattern covering the sockliner. Both these design elements are said to be inspired by the flora found along the course’s Central California coastline.

Nike’s press release further describes the shoe as “Using denim as a rebellious play on traditional dress codes at golf links, the shoe includes a tongue tag modeling the leather patch found on the backs of most jeans. Hints of red dot the upper and carry through the heel, eyelets and heel tab, and round out in a leather-toned gum sole.”

In Asia, these are available on SNKRS in Japan, and on throughout Greater China and Korea.
